About us
About your groomer
Hi I’m Liv! I have been a huge dog lover ever since I was little. I graduated from the Animal Care program at Durham College in 2023 and shortly after started my dog grooming career and am now an official certified pet groomer. In 2024 I became a fur mom to my Minature Dachshund, Ellie. I enjoy grooming and getting to be creative and passionate in the work I do. I treat every pooch that visits me with lots of love and care and i'm so grateful I get to do a job that I love. I offer a range of services including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, and more. I always am dedicated to making your pet look and feel their best.

Frequently Asked Questions
We offer a range of services from full grooms, baths, trims, nail trims, ear cleaning, face trims and more!
Yes appointments are necessary for any service as we do not accept walk ins. You can book appointments through our instagram linked below or by filling out a form on the Contact Us page.
Grooming times can vary depending on your pets size, coat condition, type of hair cut requested, behaviour and any other factors that extend grooming time. Average appointment is approximately 2 hours but we will contact you within 20 minutes of your pet being finished.
We understand leaving your pet can be hard but we do ask that you do not stay for the duration of your pets groom. Having the owner present can excite or distract the dog, which can lead to the dog wanting to jump off the table, be very wiggly whiling using sharp tools and makes it more difficult for the dog to learn to trust us and be comfortable. We always treat every dog as if they were our own.
We DO NOT groom dogs with fleas. Please ensure that your pet is up-to date with their flea treatment. If the dog arrives with fleas we will quickly contact you to collect the dog immediately to prevent contamination.
It is recommended to keep your pet on a flea and tick preventative year round. If a tick is found on your pet during service we will contact you and can remove it for you with a Tick Twister.
To ensure the safety of all pets and staff, our grooming salon requires that all dogs are current on their rabies vaccination. Proof of vaccination must be provided digitally or in the form of a valid certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian. Dogs will not be admitted for grooming without up-to-date rabies documentation. Puppies under the age of 16 weeks, who may not yet be eligible for vaccines or seniors over a certain will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
NOTE: We do require that any vaccines be administered 48 hours before the appointment. This allows the vaccine to take full effect and notice any side effects or complications.
We are a one-on-one salon meaning we only groom one dog at a time. This ensures a calmer, quieter environment and helps with stress. We can give your pet a break at anytime if needed and have belly bands and back straps to help support older dogs while standing.
In this shop, we believe in Humanity Over Vanity. This means that if your dog has matting to the skin I will shave the matting. If your dog is excessively matted, this will require an additional fee, depending on the severity. This is because matting can be difficult/dangerous to remove and it is hard on our equipment. To avoid matting I recommend brushing and combing through multiple times a week. If you would like to maintain your dogs hair but cannot keep up on brushing, I recommend more frequent grooming.
We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel an appointment. If that happens we respectfully request that you cancel 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
If you fail to show up for 2 appointments in a row, we will then require a 50% down deposit on your next appointment which will be deducted at checkout.
During check in, we will give an approximate estimate of when the service will be finished. I will contact you 20 minutes before your pet is ready for pick up. I only groom one pet at a time as I prefer to keep a calm environment for your pet.
Please do not leave your pet longer than 1 hour after they are ready for pick up as late fees may apply. If you are running late or need later pick up, please let me know
so I can best accommodate you.
We schedule our pets as One-on-Ones, meaning they are the only pet being serviced so that they do not need to be crated. Crates are available if needed to give your pet a break or if late for pick up. Fresh water is always provided.
